Samuel Robinson Essay Topic
Some Presbyterians are discouraged by the shrinking of the number of members of the denomination. Others are primarily interested in keeping the denomination faithful to Scripture and the historic confessions of the church, even at the cost of losing members. Using Scripture, the Westminster Shorter Catechism and your own experience in faith, explain how best the Presbyterian Church (or you) might address membership decline while faithfully sharing the Gospel.

Criteria

• successfully recite the answers to the Westminster Shorter Catechism;
  • Westminster Shorter Catechism (English)
  • Westminster Shorter Catechism (Spanish)
• write a 2,000 word original essay on a related assigned topic;
• be members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
