Patricia K. Gleich (Pat)

Associate for National Health Ministries

Combining a background in public health and advocacy, Pat works within the context of evangelism and health education to highlight the importance of health and wholeness for all people.

"National Health Ministries is challenged to make certain that all people live in the grace of health and wholeness — whether that is through universal health coverage, access to health information and care, or the security of knowing that they are cared about by members of their faith community. Our office is here to respond to needs, provide services, programs, training and resources to help congregations develop Congregational Health Ministries and make certain that all enjoy and share life abundant!"

Contact Pat if you have policy questions or need information about specific programs, training or events.

Chandra A. Kearns

Program Resource Development Assistant

Chandra has recently joined the staff of National Health Ministries. Bringing organizational, management and coordination skills from the private sector, she is a fourth-generation Presbyterian who graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Communication. Ordained an Elder of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in 2000 Chandra has been an active volunteer in all types of church related activities for almost three decades.

Chandra intends to use the educational programs and services of mobile health education van as a means of addressing the inequities that have resulted in lowered health status for People of Color and others historically denied access to care. In addition to coordinating the health van, Chandra will assist in facilitating the discussion on the NHM blog and in the development of resources for the NHM Web site.

Contact Chandra if you are interested in volunteering with the health education van project or would like to consider arranging a visit of the van to your community.
