Dear Presbyterian Disaster Assistance,

First, on behalf of the Makaicu Riverside Presbyterian Church and Session we want to thank you for sending Dr. Mark White to help us find hope out of chaos. He fit in to the community almost as if he had always been here. He worked nonstop from the time of his arrival and he helped the session through a very difficult process.

In a session meeting this noon, he presented an outline of a possible solution to our immediate problems: of replacing and repairing the roof, replacing the furnace and replacing the windows, one of which was destroyed by the storm.

In a motion, the session thanked Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and Mark White, concurred with the report and pledged funds toward the project.
