Support bold action for Holy Land peace
Join major Christian leaders from Catholic, Evangelical, Protestant, Orthodox and historic African-American traditions who have come together declare their support for bold U.S. action and to call for meaningful progress to achieve a just and lasting two-state peace. More than 50 American Christian leaders and congregants of the Catholic, Evangelical, Protestant, Orthodox and historic African-American traditions joined together on this letter, including the Stated Clerk of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the Rev. Gradye Parsons. This advocacy opportunity is consistent with the action of the 218th General Assembly (2008) calling the U.S. government to assume an “intensive and unrelenting role as a peacemaker.”
