2003 International Peacemakers
Video
Each year, the group of Peacemakers begins their trip with a visit to the
national church offices in Louisville for a period of orientation. They are given
an overview of the PC(USA) and issues before the church in any particular year
and told what they may expect during their travels as well as what the hosts
may be expecting of them. They are also given a chance to interact with each
other and staff, talking about fears, expectations, and hopes for their time
in the United States. Upon completion of their travels, they return to Louisville
for a time of debriefing, where they can talk about what they experienced.
