'I Believe'
Congregational Ministries Publishing – one of the “Education” parts of “Theology Worship and Education Ministries” – provides educational resources that focus on Scripture, the Reformed tradition and the life of the PC(USA), so that Presbyterians will know and embrace the truths of the gospel, join in up-building the church for its life of ministry and mission and be equipped as faithful disciples, whatever hardships may arise.
As part of its commitment, CMP has begun a new adult series that is designed for personal study, but is also an ideal means for ministers and elders and deacons to engage in common exploration of Christian faith and life. I Believe: 40 Daily Readings for the Purposeful Presbyterian is designed for disciplined daily study and prayer, and also provides a guide for group study.
The first book in the series, The Apostles’ Creed explores the foundational faith of the church into which we are baptized. Peter and Paul immerses us in the dynamic “Acts of the Holy Spirit” in enlarging the church’s mission ... then and now.
These resources provide one way that all of us can fulfill the ordination vow. We are all called to commit ourselves to zealous and faithful study so that we can maintain the truths of the gospel and build up the church’s life and mission.
