Julia Boyce serves Grace Presbytery as the director of Educational Support. She is a certified educator in the PC(USA) and oversees the Grace Presbytery Resource Center. Julia’s undergraduate degree is in music education and she received her Master of Religious Education from Perkins School of Theology at SMU. She is married to Dick, a consulting geophysicist, and they have two grown children, Jack and Allison.

Sarah Lien Finnerty works at Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City. A certified educator in the PC(USA) and a graduate of Union-PSCE, Sarah enjoys “reality” television, Sondheim musicals and exploring NYC with her husband and son. Sarah grew up in Houston, Texas, where she acquired her love for Christian education (and Blue Bell ice cream).

Pam Laing is pastor/head of staff of The United Presbyterian Church in Wood River, Illinois, since 1997, with preaching, creative worship and seeking God’s dreams for our congregation being passions. She is also active in Giddings-Lovejoy Presbytery as Convenor of Ministry Support Team 4 of the Committee on Ministry. She has been writer of “Background for Teachers” for all age levels for We Believe: God's Word for God’s People” curriculum for five years. Pam has three grown children who have spread themselves out across the country — in Virginia, Colorado and California.

Kimberly Trimboli graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, (class of ’89) and has been a church professional for eighteen years.  She has three sons and loves to read and to bake.  She has been told she makes an awesome apple pie but prefers strawberry-rhubarb herself.

Mary Mohlke is a Certified Christian Educator, 2003 APCE Educator of the Year, Elder and director of the ecumenical Resource Center in Western New York. Her hobbies include watercolor painting, calligraphy, sewing, gardening, cooking and spirituality center development. She and husband Byron have a basement full of stuff that occasionally gets transformed into something wonderful.

Cathy Caldwell Hoop has been serving for twelve years as the director of children’s ministries at Second Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennessee, where they have been using the rotation model for nine years. In addition to writing for We Believe Workshop, Cathy has written for Cokesbury’s Live B.I.G and Power Xpress. Cathy has three teenage sons, who are continually teaching her what experiential learning is all about!

Linnea Williams resides in Sherman, Texas. There she served Covenant Presbyterian Church as director of children’s ministry for several years before “retiring” to become a stay-at-home mom. She continues to be active in the congregation and in Grace Presbytery by teaching children, leading workshops and being involved with campus ministry at Austin College.

Nancy Parker has been the director of Christian education and youth at United Presbyterian in Cleburne, Texas, since graduating from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education in 1996. Nancy hasn’t completely given up on her lifelong dream of being a stand-up comic, but in the meantime she is perfectly happy being an educator and a youth director.
