Thinking about college?
The Young Presbyterian Scholars Program (YPS) features a $16,000 annual scholarship to Westminster College, Pennsylvania, for qualified students. Qualifications are:
- PC(USA) membership
- 3.5 or higher HSGPA
- Pastoral/ congregational nomination
Once on campus, students become part of the YPS Program featuring fellowship, study, mentoring and mission. The nomination deadline is October 31. Student application deadline is November 15.

Three youth groups win $25,000 endowment in ‘YMI Live’ video project
Presbyterian Foundation’s ‘YMI Live’ seeks to ‘connect and engage’
The Youth Advisory Delegates to the 218th General Assembly determined the three finalists in the ‘YMI Live’ Youth Video Challenge. The Presbyterian Foundation will establish a $25,000 endowment fund to support youth ministries at these three churches:
- Elmwood Presbyterian Church, East Orange, N.J.
- Central Presbyterian Church, Lafayette, Ind.
- Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, Long Beach, Calif.

The Presbyterian Youth Connection seeks to provide young people with an identity as believers in Jesus Christ, a sense of belonging in the church and skills as leaders. These funds will enable the participation of young people and youth workers from small membership congregations to participate in leadership conferences and building their skills as they seek to serve Jesus Christ!
